Mark Fabro CISSP, CISM
Mark Fabro is currently President and CEO of Lofty Perch Inc., and President and Chief Scientist of TerraSec, where his focus lies in developing strategies that provide clients with effective cyber-security solutions for complex mission critical architectures. As a recognized expert in cyber-attack forecasting and non-traditional threat vectors, Mr. Fabro designs Critical Infrastructure security architectures for Federal Government, Financial, and military C4ISR networks. In addition, he is responsible for the review and analysis of cyber-centric policies and procedures as they pertain to compliance to National Strategies, Directives, and Federal Mandates.
With emphasis on the usage of intrusion modeling for the determination of system vulnerabilities and correction, Mr. Fabro's responsibilities include the calculation of Information Security postures through attack analysis that incorporate both current and unreleased weaknesses, as well as non-tradition methods for information system and control systems compromise. His expertise is often provided to federal organizations seeking to develop cyber security strategies for infrastructure components.
As well as being a co-founder of the CISO Working Group, an organization promoting C-level security executives to share data more effectively, Mr. Fabro's projects included working with both the U.S. and Canadian Department of Defense and the Pentagon Integrated Protection Working Group. He has assisted and briefed more than 150 government agencies worldwide, including the White House, NSA, and Department of State, and worked on the Cyber Annex for the U.S. National Response Plan.
With almost 20 years dedicated to security research and tactical evaluation of networks and technology, Mr. Fabro has been an active member in several major technical forums, has contributed to numerous security-centric journals, and has worked with federal and state-level CIO councils to help shape efforts in the Information Assurance space. He has degrees in Applied Physics and Mathematics, and has completed graduate work in National Security and Terrorism studies at American Military University and the United Nations.
Prior to TerraSec, Mr. Fabro has held several senior-level consulting positions, including Senior Manager at BearingPoint's Security and Identity Management Team, Chief Security Scientist in the Enterprise Security Group at American Management Systems, as well as the Worldwide Director of Assessment Services for Secure Computing Corporation.
In 2005, for his work in cyber security he was recognized as one of the '25 Most Influential Consultants' in the world by the market leading Consulting Magazine.

Paul Thiel
Paul Thiel has over thirty years of Middle and Senior Management experience within Research and Development for the Information and Communication Technology sector in British Columbia. He has been an integral part of Applied Research and development activities in BC, plus Pacific Northwest, both as an employee of companies including British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), PMC-Sierra Inc., MPR Teltech Ltd and as an independent consultant. He fulfilled a 3 year secondment as Senior Technology Advisor with the BC Provincial Government and is active in the BCTIA, VEF, etc. Many of the projects Paul has been responsible for included technology transfers, performing due diligence on technology, production interface, sourcing project funding, marketing studies and sales.
Paul is a Graduate of the Simon Fraser University (SFU) Executive MBA program, holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of Alberta and is a Professional Engineer. He is a founding member of the Canadian Microelectronics Consortium and has served on many boards and advisory committees throughout his career.

Bruce is a partner in the Vancouver, B.C. law firm of Oyen Wiggs Green & Mutala, practising since 1981 in the area of intellectual property law, licensing and litigation. He has received an A.B. in Physics from Princeton University, M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario, and an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School. Bruce was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1981 and the Bar of British Columbia in 1984. He is a Registered Patent Agent (Canada and U.S.) and a Registered Trade Mark Agent (Canada and U.S.), Member of the Licensing Executives Society, Fellow of the Patent and Trademark Institute of Canada, Past Chairman, Computer Law Subsection, Canadian Bar Association, British Columbia Branch, and since 1986 an Adjunct Professor, University of British Columbia Faculty of Law lecturing on copyright law.
Bruce has been a frequent contributor to Continuing Legal Education programs on intellectual property law and litigation and the author of a number of papers in those areas, author of the Copyright section of the B.C. Annual Review of Law and Practice and author of the Intellectual Property section of the Continuing Legal Education Society of B.C.'s Due Diligence Deskbook. He acts regularly as trial and appellate counsel in the B.C. Supreme Court and Court of Appeal and the Federal Court of Canada, Trial and Appeal divisions in intellectual property causes, including patent infringement and trade secrets. Bruce is WIPO trained in intellectual property mediation.
